1984 TSU Tigers
It was 35 years ago this week, that the Tiger U team of 1984 under the guidance of Coach Frank Olszewski just returned from our UK trip, and started their quest for the East Coast Conference title. Alot of great people, players and memories. Finished 11-6-2 advancing to ECC championship after a 0-0 Draw with the University of Delaware, advancing to ECC finals on PKs 4-2.
2016/17 FC Christos
After a first-round win over a Fredericksburg club, Pulled off a 1-0 stunner against the United Soccer League’s Richmond Kickers, a second-tier team housed in a 22,000-seat stadium. Then they beat fellow amateur outfit Chicago FC United, 1-0. Unfortunately the very last game against the DC United Squad of trained reserves, their winning streak ended.
